Empire State Building Lightning

On February 7th,Greater Chinatown Community Association was recognized, along with the Chinese Consulate and Asia Society,in celebration of the Lunar New Year through the Empire State Building Lighting.

The Empire State Building
was lit in colors: red, gold, red. These colors symbolize good luck, celebration and success.Greater Chinatown Community Assoication wishes our friends these fortunes as well.

Chinese New Year Fundraising Banquet 2008

On January 24th, GCCA celebrated Chinese New Year and the noteworthy accomplishments of Mary Lo (GCCA Counselor- 1972-1980 and Executive Director- 1980-2002) and Raymond P. Kwa, M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.C. (GCCA Volunteer Doctor 1979--1980 and Banquet Honoree-2003) at its annual Chinese New Year Fundraising Banquet. Held at Jing Fong Restaurant in Chinatown, New York City, the banquet benefited GCCA¡¯s programs and services. A banquet television segment may be found here.
